MEET THE FOUNDER

Raquel Maitri

Raquel founded Calma Concept to bring people the tools and support to reduce stress and cultivate inner harmony.

 

​She knows first hand how it feels to be constantly stressed, disconnected, incapable of expressing & processing emotions and not being able to take full ownership of your life.

 

For years, she worked in cancer research, fully immersed in the scientific world.
But life had other plans. A personal crisis disrupted everything she thought she knew — leading her into a anxiety, disconnection, and emotional overwhelm.

When she was in that darkness , she began to understand something profound: Without inner peace, nothing else truly works.

 

That realization set her on a powerful journey of healing and self-realization. She immersed herself in yoga, mindfulness, psychology, and neuroscience, exploring how the mind works, how we process emotions, and how we can reclaim our inner balance.

 

Calma Concept was born from that inner journey.

Today, she helps others find that same inner harmony through science-backed, soul-centered tools and practices.

​​​She offers 1:1 Mentorship Programs, Worldwide Retreats, Classes & Wellness Workshops as well as Corporate & Team Retreats.

Raquel is the best yoga teacher I’ve ever met! For her yoga isn’t just a class, it’s her life style! She not only arranges great regular yoga classes (and restorative is my favourite one), but also organises different thematic ceremonies and events.
